We are a true family business. My husband, Jay, is a high school biology teacher by day and photographer/webmaster/graphic artist by night. Our oldest son is the Buddha Baby model and you'll see my sister-in-law, Chris (our yoga expert and model) on the various pages of the website as well as on our marketing materials. Eileen, my other very talented sister-in-law, and Gale, my very talented mother-in-law have both contributed a great deal with graphics, cheer leading, and moral support.

I built the business by doing street fairs throughout San Diego County. We then found what sold well and started selling wholesale nationwide. Our products are now sold throughout the country in gift shops, spas and boutiques. We are also part of Pangaea Outpost in Pacific Beach where we stock our own brand along with a huge array of other top selling brands. We've been told we offer the largest selection of bath, body, and candles in San Diego.

I'm am proud to say we have doubled or nearly doubled the first 4 years in business. Since then, and thanks to your wonderful support, we've enjoyed double digit growth for our first decade in business.

We opened our store front "Wax and Whimsy" in Solana Beach in 2011 and have gained a fun, dedicated following. Our mission is to provide you with personal care products that pamper the body, lift the spirit and soothe the soul. We also offer some fun novelty items that will add laughter to your every day. You'll find fashion forward women's clothing, jewelry, handbags, hats, and more. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy creating them and searching the globe for them.
